Paint & Color Questions
Questions about the paint, color, durability, tri-coat, etc.
How is your paint better than what my local dealer sells?
Often, dealers will only stock limited colors to manage their inventory. It is critical that the paint you buy is the exact color code for your car, and not a substitution with a similar code. Dealers also don’t sell much touch up paint, so the inventory they have is often older than the custom mix colors that we sell (we mix your color the day we ship it). Dealers may be reselling a high VOC lacquer or urethane based paint (with a toxic odor), whereas our paint is the highest quality waterborne formula that is currently being used by most OEM auto makers. Lastly, the dealer will often just sell you a touch up pen or bottle, without the rest of the items you need: primer, clear coat, precision applicators, polishing compound, etc.
